BTL is our attempt to translate the creamy depth of the tonka bean into a light-flooded coastal scene. At its core lies a Tonka-inspired structure that has been deliberately lightened: through air, through fruit, through precisely placed contrasts. Not a classic gourmand – but a tonka chord with a view.

The opening is creamy and rounded, almost visceral – fig jam with an underlying vanilla note. But after just a few minutes, clarity emerges: a green, tart character, like fresh rhubarb. This tension persists as the fruit recedes. In the drydown, a delicate, almost ethereal tonka bean structure takes over – carried by musk, cedarwood, and a touch of sea breeze. Not much lingers – just a pleasant, tranquil presence on the skin.

BTL thrives on its inherent contrast. Fig brings richness, warmth, and softness. Rhubarb brings direction, freshness, and light. Both exist simultaneously—not as opposites, but as an axis.
